In House: It Came!!

Today, I received my much awaited copy of In House by Derry Moore with Mitchell Owens.  Beautiful book, lovely design, gorgeous images...and I haven't even gotten to the text yet.  Anyone else get theirs? Thoughts?? Favorites? Opinions??!

This might be my favorite interior in the book, if for nothing else but the AMAZING collection of memento mori,  succulent red hues, and tiger skin.

    looks like a beautiful book! and i do the same as you when i read books like this - every picture first, then every world!

    You know what a magazine I love for interiors...the British mag, Country Life.

    Re: You're so funny, I have a short torso too and worried that the jumper wasn't the best look for me. I don't think it's the mostly flattering item I own, but I love it's playfulness. ;)

    Lucky you! Mine hasn't arrived yet. I am very much looking forward to it, although, I must confess I've been disappointed by three new books this fall. That's the problem with Mr. Amazon. He delivers. But it is sight unseen, especially for the preorder books. Your post gives me hope this book will be well red!

    I like the first and third interiors... the second one hurts my eyes a little, even though in theory I guess it looks pretty cool!

    Home- It really is a beautiful book with a great collection of interiors, even if I've seen several of them in other magazines... Can't wait for you to get your copy.

    That's the best interior shot of Houghton' hall I've seen - the chandelier looks straight out of a sale catalogue!
