Most amazing use of patterns, in Henry Wilson's London home. Does it surprise you that his stencil of magnolias was developed into a wallpaper range for Osborne & Little? Glorious.

I kind of feel like this is Byzantine meets Art Nouveau wall prints. I wish there was a better shot of the chandelier; it looks like it's been made out of ostrich feathers and ink streaks!
Omg! You'd think so many patterns used together would clash and look ugly but this just looks so amazing. x

OMG, that's gorgeous! I absolutely love the floral pattern.
Oh wow! Did he stencil and paint the cream-on-pearl under-pattern or stencil and gild over a wall-paper? Either way it is GORGEOUS and so luxurious! I love the censer/lantern (I can't work out its purpose) having over the bed and I can't begin to say how much I adore having things hung from picture rails. As soon as I'm in an apartment that I'm allowed to decorate, my art collection is going out of storage and onto chains from picture rails.
